Low repetitions and heavy weights are what we’re talking here, close to failure on the last rep.
Don’t forget strong muscles don’t have to be huge muscles, there are ways of increasing muscle strength and efficiency simply by improving your neural pathways – yes indeed, whilst exercising you can THINK yourself stronger!
Make sure you let your muscles repair afterwards and get in the protein.
Using heavy weights on your own can be a risky business – I’ll make sure you’re using the correct technique and that you’re posture is perfect.
